Experience walking through the front door to be greeted by the gorgeous view down Catfish Canal from your living room, dining room, pool, and lanai. This home has lots of space with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms plus a den/office. The Master bath has a separate shower and tub. All this plus an extended lanai area for sunbathing. Float in the pool and enjoy the views. The home also has a guest bathroom that doubles as the pool bathroom. Enjoy our wonderful sunsets from your master bedroom, great room, dining room, kitchen, or guest/exercise room. For you boaters, only 1 bridge to Matlacha Pass and world-class fishing.
Villa Quebec requires an energy cost payment of $0.18 per KWh plus tax. A down payment of $14 per day is required prior to your arrival. You only pay what you use – overpayment will be refunded on check-out.

For a full refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made 30 days prior to arrival. On cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival is no refund. Cancellations must be made by 12:00 PM on the appropriate day in writing. We strongly recommend a travel insurance to avoid cancellation loss.
There is a refundable damage deposit. If there are no damages, the deposit will be automatically released after 5 business days.
We were looking to get away in Florida during COVID times since we have been isolated for the past 6 months. We aim to seek different areas of Florida and Cape Coral was next on our list. We picked this particular house for these reasons: 1) It wasn’t a far drive from our hometown. 2) We opted for a pool, and liked the pool had a view. 3). We were looking for a one-level place that had a manageable living room for our infant crawler. 4) Price was reasonable, at first glance. Pros Place matched what was on the listing. We were happy we were able to move the living room furniture to a setting for our infant to crawl around. Place was equipped with main essentials. We appreciated the constant communication the rental management company had prior to our stay. We also liked that Publix was less than a mile away. We were happy they had Sling on their TVs. Quiet neighborhood with close neighbors. Beds were comfortable. Cons Price hike – This is the first time we rented from a place where we had to pay for electricity during our stay. We were not fond of this idea, and went in with high expectations. Cost should be included. I could maybe see the reason why since the side of the house where the pool is located is nothing but sliding doors, and you can actually have the whole house open to the screened back yard. We will be sure to not continue with the reservation if we see this again since we felt the listing purposely low balled the rental price, when at the end the price was more than twice the price per day. Communication – Management company preferred to speak via email or the phone. Since the listing went through Airbnb, I maintained my communication through Airbnb. I did request they do a thorough walk thru (making sure the floor was swept and mopped) of the house since I was bringing a crawler. This did not occur. Pest problem - We understand it is Florida and house pests can occur. Whether the previous renter had all the sliding doors open or the cleaning crew was not detailed enough, we didn’t enjoy having to clean up the house of dead pests (such as flies and roaches).We did share this back with the management company of our disappointment, and they were able to send the service provider the next day. I was surprised to see the last renter shared the same pest issue concern. Neighborhood – The only thing I wished this area had were sidewalks. I was not comfortable walking on the street with a stroller, thus we were not able to walk around.
The place is very nice and beautiful, the host responds VERY quickly to questions, and the wife and I had an absolute blast!
Good place is the first time they charge me for electricity after the rental price and pool is not that hot but temperature was ok needs some cleaning improvement and take care of some bugs issues in kitchen area but overall great experience

We had an amazing stay, just what the family needed under such stressful times. This home was spacious, clean and had the most kitchen supplies of any home ive rented.

It was very disappointed arriving at the house and found it that the heater pool wasn’t working. The main reason we rented the house was because they had a heated pool. Bruno the main contact said that nothing else could be done because the pool company is the one in charge and it wasn’t available until Monday, which it was the day we left. Long story short, we ended up with a very cold pool because there was no heater. The house needs maintenance, there was grass coming out from the travertine at the pool, which we removed in less than a minute. There was broken switches, burn lightbulbs. Cockroaches in the morning in the kitchen. It definitely need attention. Response from Pretty Cape Homes: Dear Eric, I’m surprised that you are not writing about that maybe you caused the problem with the pool heater. In our terms, it states clearly that pool equipment is managed only by the manager or the pool company. You asked me to turn the pool heater on, I drove one hour to the property just to notice that the pool heater was already turned on. I drove one hour back and received a text saying - original text “Bruno to be honest, At my arrival the heater was off. That's why I wrote you asking you if the heater needed to be turn off. I did manage myself to turn on the heater“. I drove two hours for nothing. The pool had 82 degrees instead of 86 degrees. Whatever breaks on a pool heater, there are no parts accessible on the weekend. That’s, unfortunately true, on a weekend stay is not a lot we can do about it. I'm sorry about that. To your other complaints. It was one light switch (not switches) where the toggle was cracked, I removed 5 small grass weeds from the paver-deck. Two light bulbs out of five (in the same light fixture) were burned out. We are changing after every stay the burned-out light bulbs. However, we have many thunderstorms during the summer that cause sometimes a problem. I apologize if the light switch or the light bulbs caused some inconvenience. I can understand that a rainy and cool weekend is not very entertaining.

I want to thank Bruno and Mary for always responding to me right away. I can’t wait to book and stay with you guys again. I definitely recommend Pretty Cape Homes. The best hospitality and everything was sparkling clean.

Everything was great, only issue was that the faucet water smelled like seaweed, but other than that, everything was perfect
